Summary

Breeding papers & history

The sire of Ginger is Takashi van Berkenbroeck, with two Olympic stallions in the pedigree: Darco and Feinschnitt I v/d Richter. Both Takashi himself and his grandmother Hetigny de Cosse jumped on international level. Sire Nonstop is a well established producer of jumping stock, with more then 30 international equine athletes.
The dam Gigi produced Candyboy ( v.Nagano, Quatar Federation ) and Aladin ( v. Magic Darco), sold in the 2003 auction and jumping 1,45m classes in Greece.

Grandfather Animo was a star, and his star shone most brightly at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ridden by Norwegian Morten Aasen.
Animo has been an excellent sire of sires, with the licensed stallions: Andiamo Z, Monaco, Placido, Revenge W, Regino, Animo’s Hallo, Animo II, Amerillo, Alfonso, and his two Australian based full-brothers, Alimo and Animate.

This perfect mix makes Ginger a top prospect with a fantastic attitude and tremendous jumping ability.

2010 January - Ginger is under saddle and very athletic we are pleased with her now as we were when she arrived here. She has done her British Novice clears and has now moved up to Newcomers.

Ginger is now jumping Newcomers with ease in production with Caroline.
Went to Hickstead and was placed most days Ginger really enjoyed the boldness of the courses, she will now be stepped up in class size.

October 2011 - Double clear Newcomers and now doing Foxhunter ,first one Felbridge jumped with ease in this well up to height Foxhunter.
Ginger has been training at Guys and jumped a 145m course very easily she really has not started trying yet Grade C here we come and well on course for the six year olds.

November 15th 2011 - At Limes Farm Ginger won the newcomers and then Duckhurst third in the newcomers up against grade A's, ( was an open as well)
Ginger finished the 2011 season jumping foxhunter and in the jump off there was fluent turns by Emily and Ginger and they came through a tiny gap so smoothly, it was really a very classy exhibition of jumping by the pair of them.
